In this role you will be
reporting into the Head of Compensation & Benefits – HR legal Europe.

Please note that this role is a 1 year fix-termed contract due to maternity cover.

Your responsibilities
-Serve as the legal point of contact for C&A HR teams and advises the HR team on legal matters such as employment, social security and pensions
-Assist the team on workers’ council negotiations
-Manage employee disputes and litigation for leadership with or without the assistance of outside counsel, depending on the circumstances
-Help drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements
-Review and develop employee policies and procedures for the European group
-Develop and conduct training to the HR community on new regulation,  compliance topics, etc
 

What you bring
-You have 3-4 years of experience in an fast-paced international organization and a completed law degree
-You are able to efficiently prioritize competing demands from many internal stakeholder
-You possess effective client-counseling skills plus strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
-You have fluent written and oral communication skills in English and good language skills in either French or Dutch
