Are you a strategic HR leader with a passion for driving business results and fostering people excellence? Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an HR Director to lead the HR function for the UK, collaborating closely with the National Leadership Team to achieve our business goals.

Your Role

As the HR Director, you will hold the pivotal Human Resources position for the UK. Your primary responsibility is to drive the people agenda, ensuring alignment with business results. You’ll act as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director and peers within the National Leadership Team. In this role, you’ll oversee the HR function across all business units and locations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the HR Strategy drawing from global HRstrategies and business requirements.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand keyobjectives and deliver HR initiatives that support these goals.

  • Ensure compliance with country laws and internal regulationswhile providing cost-effective HR solutions.

  • Identify high-performing individuals and potentials,promoting talent development, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion(DEI).

  • Provide high-level guidance and support to the respectiveheads in developing recruitment strategies and leading performance enablementprocesses.

  • Lead and develop the HR team in the UK, ensuringhigh-quality HR support.

  • Foster the growth and effectiveness of the HR team in the UK,ensuring high-quality HR support

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Hold a degree in business administration, human resourcesmanagement, industrial relations, or law, or possess equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of leading large,multi-discipline teams to deliver proactive, customer-focused HR services.

  • Excel in building and maintaining effective relationshipswith senior colleagues and key stakeholders, influencing, and advising them onpeople strategies.

  • Deliver results across projects by setting clear goals,monitoring progress, and holding individuals accountable.

  • Showcase corporate responsibility, results-drivenleadership, and a commitment to excellence.

  • Possess strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance,and regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate effectively through excellent verbal and writtenskills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all organizationallevels.
