HR DirectorFor a forward-thinking organization dedicated to delivering cutting-edge therapies to patients globally, we are looking for a HR Director in Amsterdam.This organization harnesses the power of antibodies to create long-lasting therapeutic solutions targeting major diseases with unmet medical needs. This scale up company is a fully integrated player in the biotech space, developing groundbreaking therapeutic approaches. We are currently searching for an ambitious and versatile HR Director who can lead strategically and manage operational HR responsibilities. The core of this role is to establish and maintain effective HR policies and processes that support the overall goals of the organization.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide guidance to leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Continuously enhance HR processes and operational efficiency.
  • Foster employee engagement by implementing initiatives that boost motivation, satisfaction, and productivity, ensuring a positive and inspiring work environment.
  • Oversee HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations, promoting a workplace culture of respect, inclusivity, and positivity.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all HR inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Handle operational HR tasks, such as managing sick leave, administering health and safety plans, and coordinating between employees and occupational health services.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee development and retention.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a comparable role within an international (biotech) setting, with a solid understanding of Dutch labor laws.
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Dutch employment visas, 30% tax rulings, leave allowances, and employment contracts.
  • A strong communicator with a people-centric approach, able to work collaboratively and effectively.
  • Proactive and confident in taking the initiative.
  • Adaptable, organized, and hands-on.
