Job Description Summary

In this role, the HR Data Governance Analyst will be a key partner in managing the governance and quality of data within Aerospace HR products globally. This role entails collaborating across Aerospace data privacy and HR compliance teams while staying current with global privacy laws, guiding the team to ensure correct use of HR data, and focusing on executing controls and standards. The analyst will enable activities, provide advice, and ensure compliance with policies and work routines related to data quality and privacy. Collaboration with legal, compliance, HR People Operations and technology teams is crucial for reviewing and evaluating the lifecycle of confidential and sensitive data, including collection, storage, usage, transfer, retention, and destruction of information.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Key partner in establishing a HR Products data governance council to define and set quality standards for HR

  • Manage the data risk lifecycle processes related to HR data to mitigate potential privacy risks associated with data security

  • Establish and maintain data governance practices specific to HR data to uphold data integrity and privacy by utilizing policies, procedures and routine audits to ensure compliance

  • Oversee and manage the process of requesting HR data, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations

  • Implement and monitor consistent data access controls to safeguard HR data from unauthorized access to include privacy standards

  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely updates and communication of HR products to European Work Council (EWC) and country specific councils, including preparing the required documentation for proposals to EWC and country specific councils

  • Ensure adherence to data retention policies for historical data and establish protocols for archiving data securely.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Demonstrated work experience with deep knowledge of global data privacy as it relates to HR products and data quality

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • Entry to mid level experience in HR Operations or related experience.
