The Plant HR Coordinator is the to go to HR professional on site and responsible for dealing with all HR related requests and topics as well as Labor Relations on the site. The HR Coordinator reports to the HR Director Hill’s Europe Supply Chain (based in the Netherlands).

The HR Coordinator originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The HR Coordinator coordinates implementation of services, policies and programs through HR staff and assists and advises coordinating team members about HR issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the local Management Team team on all HR related matters

• Manage employee relations issues and ensure policies and procedures are consistent with global standards, the national contract and legislation

• Coordinate and manage the relationships with employee representation and Unions

• Develop HR processes and procedures and maintain existing procedures. Develop and implement company policies

• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external Training and Development programs

• Oversee the administration of plant processes, including employee performances, salary planning, special events, awards, corrective actions and legal compliance.

• Manage recruitment processes including conducting interviews, creating job offers , collaborating with recruitment consultants and onboarding

• Provide general and specific HR guidance and advice to all employees

• Maintain HR data accuracy in databases and systems, ensuring compliance with data protection laws

• Support and monitor Performance Management and Development cycle execution.

• Identifies legal requirements and governmental reporting regulations and ensures compliance

• Oversees and administers complex compensation programs. Analyze and modify services, benefits, policies and programs in compliance with legal and company requirements

• Implements HR continuous improvement programs within the facility

What do you bring:

As a minimum a Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management or related field

A minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources, preferably in a plant environment.

Working experience with Union consultation and relationship building.

Up-to-date knowledge of Italian employment law and other compliance regulations

Experience with digital HR tools (i.e SAP SuccesFacors or similar)

Italian and English language proficiency
