YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR C&B conducts job and pay structure analysis, evaluation and market benchmarking to align employee pay levels with the external and internal value of jobs. The position is responsible for everything related to correct, timely and legally compliant pay for Flight Crews and Ground Staff.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Recognized subject matter expert in Aviation pay structures, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
  • Implement Compensation and reward policies that are aligned with the company`s business objectives for all staff levels
  • Interpret the implications of business strategy on organizational design
  • Provide consulting on C&B matters (e.g. interpret policy) and analysis
  • Conduct job analysis and evaluation, salary administration, analysis of compensation surveys and obtain all necessary information in order to prepare compensation and budget proposals
  • Supervise the collection of data about company`s Compensation and Benefits policies
  • Manage and monitor DHL Group IT systems for employee data
  • Prepare all data and documents for the external payroll provider
  • Prepare all data and documents for German health insurance calculation and deduction
  • Manage relationship with the external payroll related records
  • Design, adapt and review Payroll processes and timelines considering internal /external best practices, local legislation and alignment requirements of multiple business units
  • Monitor monthly payroll process
  • Review and calculate overtime, shift payments, per diems and bonuses
  • Maintain time, attendance and absence records for crews
  • Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
  • Advise customers and key stakeholders on processes, systems and tools
  • Support various internal and external audits

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Qualified in aviation payroll and administration and time management/time recording
  • Qualified in labour law, social security law and tax law
  • Relevant Experience in aviation more than 6 years
  • HR certification (not a must)
  • business understanding
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in payroll, time recording, employee benefits, pensions and tax
  • Proficient MS Office knowledge
  • Customer orientation
  • Good communications skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude
  • Resilient with good time management
  • Excellent spoken and written English, German on a native speaker level would be an advantage
  • Works independently
  • A payroll accounting exam would be an advantage
  • Maintain a high level of Reliability and confidentiality for sensitive data
  • Work permit within EU
