HR Business Partner for R&ED, Novo Nordisk – maternity cover

The position
You will be the HR Business Partner to leaders at CVP and VP level in Early Innovation, Outreach and Alliances and in Rare Disease Research within the business area Global Drug Discovery (GDD) in Research and Early Development (R&ED).
As HR Business Partner your focus is to translate your area’s strategic priorities into relevant and impactful P&O actions, which include enabling the leaders to drive:

You will mainly work with senior managers in your area. But managers at all levels of leadership will approach you requiring you to balance between day-to-day challenges and proposing solutions and recommendations at a highly strategic and tactical level depending on what will be needed to progress. As a trusted advisor, you build solid relationships with the business and the P&O organisation, identify challenges and play an advisory role in addressing them.
You are a part of a community with your HR Business Partner colleagues, and you work closely with Centres of Excellence from the P&O organisation. You review, develop and implement the P&O responses required to enable the business’ ability to seize business opportunities and overcome challenges. You will build trustful relations with the leaders and enable them in fostering an engaging and psychologically safe employee environment, rooted in our values – the Novo Nordisk Way. Along with preparing for and facilitation of the annual people processes, you will support leaders and their management team with guidance on tasks related to running business.

Ideally, you:

-Have 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within a large, international and culturally diverse environment with change management and organisational development.
-Experience with supporting successful leadership on the distance for a remote senior global leader who is not co-located with their immediate management team and area
-Have excellent analytical skills, flair for data, and the ability to facilitate and present
-Have solid stakeholder management experience – also with senior leadership
-Are able to think strategically and to translate business into simple and impactful HR actions, based on a thorough understanding of the challenges and future outlook.
-Hold a relevant academic degree preferably within HR, Organization, Business Psychology or similar. You could also come from a leadership position or management consultancy with experience in organizational psychology and development.
-Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience from working within pharma or R&D will be an advantage.
It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding and stakeholder management. You find solutions and get people to collaborate, focusing on what matters most for the end-user.
About the department
You will report to the P&O Director for GRT, GDD and LEAD and be a part of a team of highly engaged and fantastic HR Business Partners supporting different parts of the R&ED area with a mission of being a proactive, trusted partner to the business and a strong P&O team.
