Overview:

This role will provide HR support for client group Leaders, Managers, and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities acting as the HR Manager of record for multiple client groups. The role Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Additionally, the role will provide HR Business Partnership for the HR Transformation Management Office (HR TMO) activities focused on people and change management aspects of HR transformation. The HR TMO is responsible for building an HR function that runs brilliantly, with a target operating model aligned with GE Vernova’s purpose and strategy, at a competitive cost structure. The role will be about making our transformation vision real by providing leadership and direction to our people and change management efforts.

Essential Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities include:

  • A leadership partner who develops & executes organization-level HR strategies to align structure, culture & talent with business goals. Includes those who manage an HR Function within a Business Segment or Sub-Business. For use in businesses that are operating in the HR Partnership Model.

  • Developing expertise within function. Growing reputation within the organization. Includes roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization.

  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business solutions to leaders in functional area. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

  • Has major influence on small business unit, a segment within a larger business unit, a family within a Function or a P&L business segment and has ownership/influence over budgets. The role is guided by functional policy. The role influences policy/operating guidelines about important subjects.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • This individual will partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with our HR transformation goals. This will include developing and executing organizational proposals, staffing and talent deployment strategies, and cultural initiatives.

  • Leading the Change Management workstream within the HR Transformation initiative. Will collaborate with change champions and leaders throughout GE Vernova HR to develop and implement change management strategies. Assesses the effectiveness of change management strategies and adjusts as required.

  • Mobilizes talent to support HR transformation initiatives. Develops strategy for resourcing projects and works with workstream leaders to fill resource needs.

  • Will lead specific transformation projects. Presents business solutions to leaders in functional area. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • Collaborates with HR leaders who support the HR function across GE Vernova.

  • Collaborates with and supports other HR Transformation Workstream Leaders to ensure the overall success of the project.

  • Participates in HR TMO operating rhythms. Provides periodic updates on performance and status of workstream, and role-models a culture of transparency and candor.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Significant experience in progressive leadership

  • Significant experience in Human Resources, including roles in client-facing HR positions (HR Business Partner, HR Manager, Country/Regional HR Leader).

If contracted in the US:

The salary range for this position is $141,200.00 – 235,400.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus
