Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!British American Tobacco Iberia has an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner – Fixed-Term 1 year in MadridThe Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. The HRBP will provide comprehensive HR support, including talent management, employee relations, and performance management. The HRBP collaborates closely with the managers and employees to ensure the right deployment of the HR policies, activities and actions in Spain.Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop individuals and teams through facilitation of various leadership workshops and cultural programs.
• Coach and educate Line managers and employees while providing right level of HR guidance and expertise.
• Support line managers with external recruitment
• Supports management in identifying productivity and efficiency opportunities.
• Develops strategies to ensure no disruption to business or loss of key talent.
• Manage, monitor and improve HR Administration processes, in close cooperation with the Regional HR Shared Services team. Initiate HR policy review and policy changes in line with business agenda & labour law developments.
• Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS standards and procedures BAT group

What are we looking for?

• University Degree or similar in Business administration/HR Management or equivalent
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a similar setting
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial person with a practical mindset, able to focus on priorities in a dynamic environment and with a positive attitude.
• Able to cope effectively with tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment
• Ability to establish trustful internal and external relationships.
• Proactive and enthusiastic.
• Some knowledge of payroll system and/or SAP Success factors will be beneficial
• Knowledge of local labor law
