We are looking for our next HR BP for Italy North.

Are you ready to shape the future of HR in a dynamic, global environment? We’re seeking a visionary HR Business Partner to join our team in Northern Italy, directly reporting to the PPG Italy HR Country Coordinator.

Your Mission:

As our HR Business Partner, you’ll be the driving force behind our people strategy, influencing the success of approximately 400 employees across both white-collar and blue-collar roles. You’ll navigate diverse situations, turning them into opportunities for growth and innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Translate the business/functional and corporate strategies into the local HR agenda, enabled by data and analytics.
• Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, using data to develop talent, total rewards, engagement, performance, culture and capability building to local business outcomes.
• Manage a team of 3 HR BPs and liaise with CoEs supporting Italy (Talent Acquisitions, Payroll, Total Rewards, L&D)
• Deliver short- and long-term sustainable business/function performance through strategic capability building.
• Ensure execution of HR strategy, challenging to balance local business and program needs, while understanding and advocating the Company approach.
• Collaborate with regional/local leaders to improve and execute standard processes (e.g., talent, rewards, engagement, and succession and development).
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to drive awareness, accountability and customize actions where needed.
• Optimize the workforce through resource planning, productivity analysis, structure, operational and deployment of resources.
• Support to ER/LR on critical negotiations with unions/works councils.
• Directly manage local, non-complex issue resolution (including employee relations, time and attendance, compensation, disciplinary procedures etc.) and policy adherence, applying standard global, regional and local practices and guidelines.

Who You Are:

• A forward-thinking HR professional with a positive, entrepreneurial mindset
• Solution-driven, with a knack for finding opportunities within challenges
• Fluent in English and well-versed in Italian employment legislation
• Experienced in the industrial sector, preferably within multinational environments
• A master of interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and organization
• Comfortable navigating complex situations and collaborating with global teams
