HR Advisor

Wood is looking for an HR Advisor based in Milan office. Reporting to HR Managers, he/she will ensure a positive customer experience and take accountability for managing queries effectively and closing out each in a timely manner, by providing advice, support and guidance across the full HR spectrum. The role provides a variety of generalist HR services necessary for the entire employee life cycle (hire to retire, assignments, retention) of qualified employees for their area of the business.

This role will be involved to support Italy and different countries in Europe and will interact with other offices all around Europe.

• Provision of advice and support to key stakeholders on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, including performance management, discipline and grievance
• Act as a focal point for all stakeholders regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits and employee relations
• Provide guidance and assist during the entire employee lifecycle (ie: onboarding, redeployment, offboarding processes…)
• Conduct payroll investigations, manage overpayments/underpayments in line with the requirements of applicable processes
• Undertake office and site visits (on a business trip basis) if required
• Support and assist all HR projects
• Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
• Collect and manipulate data sets and analyze trends and arising issues
• Supervises the preparation of supporting paperwork and subsequent filing
• Gather training needs, identify and organize relevant courses

• Degree qualified in HR related or business management qualification – preferred
• Previous experience in an HR environment (2 / 4 years)
• Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Good knowledge of HRM Systems (ie. Oracle, ADP…) is a nice to have
