We are seeking a Group Customs Manager to join our team in Milan!Reporting to the Group Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you will be the go-to expert for all customs-related issues, providing invaluable support and advice to our global subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and optimizing processes.What you will do:Work closely with HQ business functions, local tax and customs personnel, external providers, and the Group Tax team to ensure seamless compliance with customs regulations.Develop and maintain comprehensive customs processes, policies, and practice manuals. Oversee necessary changes in the ERP system to ensure consistency and compliance.Monitor and manage legislative changes in relevant territories, effectively communicating their impact to stakeholders.Contribute to international projects including restructuring, tax optimization, cross-border transactions, supply chain management, ERP implementations, and data analytics.Provide training and support on customs matters to various business functions including Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, Purchasing, and Finance.Assist local customs teams in managing audits and disputes efficiently and effectively.What do we need?Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Law with a specialization in customs and/or international trade.5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a large group or a reputable international law firm or within global accounting firmsStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver accurate, timely results.A proactive self-starter with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Italian is a plus.Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
