The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:
-Providing onsite management and supervision of the supported housing service ensuring the delivery of an effective, enhanced, housing management service
-Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels
-Supporting and promoting compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
-Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders
-Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment
-Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems
-Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate
Skills and experiences:
-Previous experience delivering tenancy services
-Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
-Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
-NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area
-Ability to extract and interrogate data
-Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable
-Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence is essential
