Full-time (35 hours) primarily Monday to FridayHours between 6am-10pmOnsite working onlyClosing date: Monday 24th June 2024Potential Interview date:Thursday 18th July 2024The Role and DepartmentAs Housekeeping and Cleaning Services Team Leader, you will provide, and ensure the delivery of, exceptional service standards that are effective, efficient and offer value for money.
You will be responsible for delivering service standards and ensuring the University is well-maintained, welcoming and a pleasant environment for, all stakeholders including students, staff, visitors and commercial customers.You will also have day-to-day supervisory responsibility for the Housekeeping and Cleaning Services Assistants, within your team. You will also be expected to have a general understanding of General Services and provide day-to-day supervision for a team of General Services Assistants, should the occasion arise (i.e., unplanned absence of a General Services Team Leader, etc.).The Estates and Facilities Directorate provides essential services to Durham University and is responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the infrastructure and building fabric of the various campuses.Further information about the role and the responsibilities is at the bottom of this job description.£25,742 to £28,759 per annum, Grade 5
