Job description

The School of Computer Science and Technology is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Hourly Paid University Lecturer in Automotive Engineering to deliver on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to our dynamic department and support critical modules including:

• Thermal Systems and Applications
• Vehicle Dynamics and Sustainable Vehicle and Powertrain
• Vehicle Powertrain Technology

There will also be opportunities to support our new Formula Student team.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on practical sessions in the specified modules.
• Support and mentor students in their learning and development.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• relevant undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Automotive Engineering or a related field, or significant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and technologies.
• Previous teaching experience in higher education is desirable.
