), is willing to support one or more applications for the EU Marie-Curie Individual post-doctoral Fellowship. These fellowships are very interesting and consequently very competitive. The call is open to European and non-European researchers with a PhD willing to develop postdoctoral research in Belgium. Deadline for the final project submission is September 2024. We are willing to support applications related to our research on complex systems, network and data science, agent-based models, statistical physics, and computational and mathematical modelling, applied to social or economic problems. We are particularly interested in computational modelling (especially agent-based modelling) and to expand our expertise in data science and machine learning, though these are not restrictions!

We are looking for independent and motivated people open to interdisciplinary research. The candidates must have a PhD (or close to achieve a PhD) in physics, economics, finance, applied mathematics, engineering, computer sciences, or closely related quantitative programmes.ATTENTION: Note that this ad is for people willing to have the Complex Systems Institute (an interdepartmental research group) at Ghent University as host for the Marie-Curie fellowship application.
