Job descriptionHistory teacher – Bolton – January startProspero Teaching are working with a large secondary school in Bolton who are seeking a full time History Teacher to work in their school from January until July. You will be required to teach history to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. You will be required to deliver lessons that are engaging & that will challenge the classes.There is a large on site car park available. There are also very good public transport links close by.This role is ope to ECTs and fully qualified teachers, with QTS.General Information:Location: BoltonPosition: KS3 & 4 History teacherStart date: January 2025End date: July 2025Minimum rate of pay: in line with your main pay scaleHours: 8 am – 4pm (term time only)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSQualified Teacher of HistoryUp to date knowledge of the National CurriculumTeacher of History at key stage 3 & 4Hold a valid & recognised teaching qualificationYou will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply basis , the role is open to ECT’s and more experienced teachers. You will be required to commit to the role in it’s entirety.Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided)To be eligible for this History teaching job with Prospero Teachinghold Right to Work in the UK.Possess an enhanced child barred list.
