- Supporting the teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons
- Providing one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties
- Assisting in the assessment of students’ progress
- Supervising students during class and break times
- Helping to create a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Experience working in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SchoolsExperience:Previous experience working in a classroom setting is essentialKnowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the national curriculum
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:This role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and hours. The candidate should be prepared to work with students of varying abilities and behaviours.
