A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Healthcare Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Southwell, Nottinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This care home offers a mixture of residential and dementia care and provides short term respite care to help others take a break from their caring roles

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care

As a Healthcare Assistant your key duties include:

* Acting as a key worker to some residents, and ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate
* Providing personal care to the residents, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times
* Supporting new members of the team and providing constructive feedback
* Encouraging independence as much as possible

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

* Previous experience of working in a care environment
* Previous experience of working with older people
* A shared understanding and the ability to demonstrate our four key values
* A caring, compassionate personality
* Reliability and punctuality

The successful Healthcare Assistant will receive an excellent salary of GBP9.50 per hour. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
