Job Description:An opportunity for a Health Management & Predictive Maintenance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Spain.Mission– Contribute to improve aircraft availability and mission success by using in-service data hosted in big data platforms.
– Reduce unscheduled maintenance with custom alerts, recommendations and analysis on a wide range of aircraft systems and equipment.
– Optimize fleet operation with health monitoring solutions and data analytics-driven diagnostic tools.Tasks & accountability– With a strong focus on business needs, extract and integrate both structured and unstructured data from various databases/data-stores.– Develop, test and implement the most suitable analytical models to identify meaningful patterns or trends from complex data sets and types.– Implement analytics pipelines according to the business needs.– Analyze and improve regularly the accuracy, precision, recall of models.– Communicate findings through effective and easy-to-understand data visualizations adapted to the audience and/or final user.– Be the interface between their functions, the data ecosystem and the requested solution.– Coach the function in the data-driven mind-set.– Actively contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data science community.Desired skills– Computer science, Aeronautical, Industrial or similar Engineering degree, Physics, Mathematics related degrees are also welcome.
– Experience as Health Engineer and/or Health Data Analyst
– Experience with onboard aircraft recording systems (ATA45) and/or ground support systems.
– Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, procedures.
– Experience in Customer Services Engineering, IT/IM, Design Offices is valuable.
– Programming languages: Python, SQL, Java.
– Appreciated additional tools exposure, knowledge: JIRA, Confluence, Spotfire, GIT.– Experience working in the Agile methodology.
– Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Big Data, Data Management knowledge and experience is also key for the position.– English: Advanced, to work with a multinational team.
