J&J Innovative Medicine Belux is recruiting a Health Economics Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR) Manager to enforce the oncology team working for Belgium and Luxembourg. This person reports to the Lead Market Access Oncology.

Function description:

You will ensure access for patients to our innovations in our oncology portfolio by combining scientific, economic and communication aspects:

  • You develop in co-creation with the Market Access Director and the Oncology Lead, and execute the optimal strategy for local pricing and reimbursement dossiers and evidence generation, including health economic modelling and budget impact analyses, and ensure timely submission to local health authorities;

  • You actively contribute to the development of negotiation strategies and innovative financial MEA’s;

  • You ensure market access excellence by capturing events in the healthcare environment that impact market access and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and key pricing and reimbursement decision makers;

  • You strategically co-create and execute stakeholder plans;

  • You have a key role in the operating company departments to integrate market access strategies into product plans and cooperate with national and international cross-functional teams;

  • You support the European pricing and reimbursement groups with information on local pricing and reimbursement requirements and contribute to the European strategies;

  • You represent the company internally and externally with regard to market access and ensure leading presence at meetings with authorities, clients, industry associations and other partners regarding the pharma business.

Qualifications

  • A scientific background with experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record of performance in Market Access, preferably within the therapeutic area of oncology;

  • Diplomatic and negotiation skills allowing you to reach a consensus between different partners;

  • Organizational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues;

  • You demonstrated ability to think strategically, able to zoom out to think holistically as well as to zoom in on details as needed;

  • Business acumen with high customer focus & strength in problem solving;

  • Deep knowledge of TA with strength in translating strategy into tactics;

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/priorities with adherence to strict timelines;

  • Dynamic and ambitious professional that proactively explores solution building in the face of obstacles;

  • Team player: partnership & team building with a sound understanding of the pharmaceutical business environment;

  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills;

  • Languages: Dutch/French/English.
