Your new role
As a Health & Safety Supporter in API M3 Kalundborg, you’ll play a crucial role in driving safety excellence across both projects and operations. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring compliance with legislation and internal requirements while supporting the safe delivery of diabetes products.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:

-Supporting safety improvements across projects and contributing to health & safety activities throughout project execution and operational phases
-Ensuring project compliance with Danish legislation, our internal H&S management system and Novo Nordisk policies aligned with ISO 45001
-Collaborating with diverse stakeholders including people managers, HS VP partners, HS representatives, ATEX/CE specialists, and external contractors and consultants
-Supporting risk assessments, EHS Portal registrations, Work Wise initiatives, emergency response activities and inspection readiness
-Assisting with safety inspections, processing incidents and near-misses, and implementing follow-up actions in accordance with established procedures
-Contributing to training activities, best practice sharing, and promoting a safety-first, LEAN mindset across the organization
-Participating in mapping and APV (work environment) activities while ensuring employee representative involvement in decisions affecting the working environment
Your new department
In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You will be joining PS API Large Kalundborg Projects with approximately 350 employees. Our area has the responsibility to design, plan and build the major API expansion projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We build and design our future API facilities as multi-product facilities with the flexibility to accommodate future processes and display state-of-the-art technology and working environments. We focus on delivering the highest quality to patients worldwide in an efficient and environmentally sustainable way – setting the standards for the future and designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a Health & Safety Supporter who is credible, optimistic and proactive. You’ll bring with you:

-Professional-level Danish and English (both spoken and written)
-2–5 years of experience in health and safety management or support roles
-Experience with H&S work and solid knowledge of Danish H&S legislation and regulatory compliance standards
-Familiarity with management systems such as ISO 45001 and basic project understanding
-Experience supporting accident investigations, risk assessments and emergency response planning
-Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to contribute effectively within your area of responsibility
-Organized, systematic and quality-focused approach with strong planning skills
-Relevant education within Health and Safety (preferred)
-Statutory Working Environment training for HS representatives (mandatory)
-Company-relevant training in Health and Safety such as Fire, First Aid, and WPA courses (mandatory)
