Head of WCS RF Portfolio management – Team headPermanent employment contract , Head of Trade Structuring & Advisory I, GJA 18, full time, Brussels – Belgium – ING internal onlyAbout the positionAs the leader of the front office Working Capital Solutions Receivables Finance Portfolio Management team, and directly reporting to the Head of WCS in Belgium, your primary responsibility will be the ongoing management of the dedicated WCS portfolio, with an emphasis on credit reviews and amendments of existing receivables finance transactions. Given this is all about flow business, the changes in the deals are rather intense. You will coordinate the tasks within the team as well as running transactions by yourself. We work through our dedicated WCS teams based in Belgium, Poland, Romania and Singapore and the newly established team in the United States. Portfolio management is a key part of the team. The Portfolio managers keep the clients at ease which ensures the continued income generation for the team.Your key responsibilities

  • Take the role of Head of Portfolio management where you will steer about 6-7 colleagues on a daily basis as well as many stakeholders within the bank.
  • Ensure continuity of credit risk follow-up on an existing portfolio of Receivables Finance transactions
  • Ensure that non-financial risk remains under control, maintain the governance in line with evolving internal and regulatory requirements, contribute to fostering a risk culture in the overall team
  • Continuously strive towards improving processes
  • Be the main interface with many Working Capital Solutions RF internal stakeholders of which Credit risk and the settlement team will be the most frequented colleagues.
  • Be involved with our clients. The role will also be very much client facing.

  • a relevant experience of at least 6-8 years with relevant experience in Receivables Finance (Invoice discounting, Receivables securitisation (on- and off-balance sheet), Factoring and some background in Risk Management
  • a proven track record within securitisation and its CRR regulation
  • to be fully up to date on ING’s internal lending, operational and other relevant internal policies.
  • a thorough understanding of credit risk, non-financial risk, and internal ING processes
  • excellent oral and written skills in English and Dutch or French.
  • an academic degree in economics, management, law, engineering or equivalent
  • a first managerial experience is definitely a positive.
