Head of Trade Credit Belgium in Brussel, Belgium

As the Head of Trade Credit, you will lead all Trade Credit efforts across Belgium.

The role

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Grow the Trade Credit book of business for Belgium according to the commercial objectives

• Lead deal teams for offensive and defensive RFP’s in Belgium

• Engage with the Belgium WTW network to map local and regional opportunities

• Create sales acumen and pipeline management in cooperation with CRB teams

• Unlock BOR opportunities with existing clients who use other trade credit brokers or are direct with insurers

• Write sales plan and measure sales successes

• Initiate sales & marketing activities, including conference participation

• Build the WTW brand with strong external communication

• Participate in the global practice’s aspirations around digitization, technology and innovation

• Attract new talent

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets & attributes:

• Minimum of 10 years trade credit insurance experience

• Trade Credit Insurance sales experience

• Detailed knowledge of Belgium/global Trade Credit Insurance marketplace

• Proven track record in delivering growth in trade credit industry

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

• Excellent communication (written, verbal, oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential

• Belgium, French and English speaking (fluently)

• Experience in digitization & technology solutions preferred.
