About the job Head of TechnicalEmbark on a journey by joining a cutting-edge technology pioneer in a key position as Head of Technical, where you will lead the R&D team and develop the technical strategy.Excel in leadership, strategic direction, and technical oversight
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead, motivate, develop, and mentor the R&D team (8FTEs), and further build the team composition to make it a strong, dynamic, and effective unit. As Head of Technical, you will become part of the management team at Wiseled, and it will be your responsibility to define, develop, implement, and execute the technological vision and strategy aligned with the overall business objectives. Based on this, you will set the right competitive direction for the team and ensure that the strategy is clearly communicated, understood, and endorsed by all relevant internal and external key stakeholders, enabling new business, new customers, and opportunities. Moreover, you will oversee the development and install best practices as well as measures to ensure development is on track according to the commitments. Furthermore, you will monitor the business environment for emerging trends, seize opportunities, and respond quickly to challenges. Spearheading the technical strategy of the organization, you will represent Wiseled in meetings with existing and potential clients, giving you a broad interface with various stakeholders.Experienced R&D Manager with technical expertise in advanced tech
We expect you to hold an academic degree in engineering (mechanical, electronics, software) or other related fields combined with solid experience from an R&D/engineering leadership position in a technology organization with advanced technological products. You need solid experience with product/device development and conceptualization, providing you with the necessary technical savvy to understand complex disciplines, learn new trends, and evaluate the technology direction. Moreover, you need excellent interpersonal skills in written and spoken Danish and English as well as the ability to efficiently engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.Personally, you are proactive, ambitious, and pragmatic – and you excel in leveraging professional connections. Driving creativity and innovation comes naturally to you, and you have the assertiveness to make decisions, assign clear priorities, and challenge the status quo. As a leader, you inspire engagement, lead change, and demonstrate integrity and transparency that build trust.
