You will lead all tax matters for Siemens Energy legal entities in the Nordics region, ensuring compliance with both local tax laws and Siemens Energy internal policies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with business areas, regional and local finance management, and support functions on every tax-related aspect. You will be the primary point of contact for the Siemens Energy global tax network, external auditors, and other advisors on tax topics in the Nordics region. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax Europe, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing tax strategies to support Siemens Energy’s ambitious goals.How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Coordinate all tax matters for Siemens Energy legal entities, ensuring detailed compliance with local tax laws and Siemens Energy’s internal policies and processes.
  • Successfully conduct and roll out global tax-related standards and policies within Siemens Energy companies in the region.
  • Develop close partnership with collaborators such as the Taxes & Customs department, Accounting & Controlling, Legal & Compliance, and Treasury & Corporate Finance. This includes working together on areas like M&A, transfer pricing, project business, tax accounting, and reporting.
  • Resolve and mitigate tax risks, providing comprehensive tax advisory services to support Siemens Energy’s strategic objectives.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by constantly improving tax processes and bringing to bear digital tools for greater efficiency.

What You Bring:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Law, or equivalent experience in these fields (specific academic background or postgraduate studies in Tax will be a plus).
  • Proven professional experience of at least 15 years in tax compliance and tax advisory roles.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of regional tax laws and experience in international tax. Must have advised on corporate matters in the Nordics and international tax topics.
  • The ability to function successfully and collaboratively in a team environment while building strong networks with other teams and companies within the group.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for continuous learning and digital innovation.
  • Unwavering integrity and a strong customer focus.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in Danish and English.
