Head of Sales & MarketingAs Head of Sales & Marketing you plan, develop and implement commercial strategies that reflect Blink’s objectives and priorities. These strategies will focus on maximising opportunities for profit, generating revenue and creating sustainable growth. You help the business to identify new opportunities and ensure market fit of products and services based on current sector trends and anticipated future market developments.Main tasks, responsibilities and deliverables include:Manage the business development, account management and internal sales team, as well as a marketeer on a day to day basis (a total of +/- 20 FTEs)Develop and implement the commercial strategy across Belgium to accelerate and optimise Blink’s revenue in a fast growing marketRefine strategy and go to market approach for new and existing charger products/servicesResponsible for the local marketing budget, mainly driven by lead generation, social media and event activitiesWork in a cross-functional role with different teams and stakeholders both internally and externally, solving a range of diverse and challenging problemsIdentify, size and pitch market and product growth opportunities, building relationships with senior executives to drive new partnershipsMonitor all potential deals – ensuring they are commercially sound and profitable using key metricsIntroduce and manage appropriate corporate governance and best practicesAssist with setting, managing and monitoring financial targets and budget development, partial P&L responsibility on the sales budget and margin.Part of the Belgian management team and responsible to lead the commercial agenda in the local management meetingsPotentially with Management AuthorizationWhat do you need to excel in this role?A successful candidate combines a blend of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and has an extensive experience in sales and marketing.We are looking for a result-driven, proven leader with minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial role. Furthermore, we require:Proven strategic and people management skillsStrong corporate governance experience and a wealth of knowledge in bidding for and running commercially viable, profitable projectsPeople management experience, able to coach, nurture, develop and performance manage your teams, plus create strong relationships with senior peersAble to implement best practice systems and procedures, having a flexible approach – the company is undergoing transformation, so you need to be adaptable and pragmaticHighly commercial, contractually literate, financially savvyStrong leadership experienceTrack record of hitting company targetsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilities in order to successfully manage relationships with key clients and stakeholdersDriven to take ownership and accountabilityCommercial experience in EV, fleet (energy), electrical wholesale sector, leasing, mobility, or similar is a great assetOption to work freelance is negotiable, we do look for a long-term commitmentWhat’s in it for you?Blink Charging Belgium is a game changer; we are the pioneer of electric driving in Belgium.
