Job Responsibilities

  • Technical and operational management of the process technology including process roadmap, hardware requirements, cost of ownership calculations, competitiveness
  • Technical and operational management of the process team;
  • Development of electrochemical and/or etching processes on SEMSYSCO equipment;
  • Problem analysis and solution finding in electrochemical/etching tasks;
  • Planning and execution of complex scientific and technical experiments for customer projects;
  • Evaluation, documentation and presentation of results;
  • Literature research of existing processes and products;
  • Writing of technical reports;
  • Process accompanying measurements;
  • Demo process support at cooperation partners;
  • Regular coordination with customers regarding projects;
  • Support of suppliers;
  • Characterization of material properties & compatibility.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed university studies (master’s degree or diploma) in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or similar;
  • At least 5 years of experience in IC substrates, wet chemical deposition or etching processes;
  • Several years of leadership experience and proven ability to work in a team;
  • Business fluent English language skills;
  • High customer orientation;
  • Strong technical interest and solution affinity;
  • Systematic approach to work and independent application of strategies and procedures for problem solving (e.g. FMEA);
  • Good communication skills and intercultural competence.
