From improving economic performance and creating jobs to fostering strong education and fighting international tax evasion, we provide a unique forum and knowledge hub for data and analysis, exchange of experiences, best-practice sharing, and advice on public policies and international standard-setting.The Statistics and Data DirectorateThe Statistics and Data Directorate (SDD) ( ) provides statistics and data on a comparable basis and from a variety of sources to analysts, policy makers and members of civil society. SDD also develops new metrics and innovative digital tools to address emerging policy issues, leads the development of international statistical standards, advances statistical methodology and co-ordinates statistical and data-related activities within the Organisation and with other international agencies. It includes the Secretariat serving the Committee on Statistics and Statistical Policy (CSSP) and its Working Parties. The National Accounts Division (NAD) provides high quality statistics, data and analysis in the areas of and on the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting ( ) to support relevant policy work in the OECD and internationally. NAD also undertakes research to ensure that accounting standards and statistics remain forward-looking and continue to respond to current and future megatrends such as digitalization, including artificial intelligence, globalization, and environmental challenges.SDD is looking for a dynamic and experienced senior executive to provide leadership and strategic direction as Head of the National Accounts Division. The breadth and the complexity of the issues for which NAD is responsible requires an experienced senior executive with a strong understanding of the System of National Accounts and related statistical domains, along with an excellent grasp of the economic and policy drivers underpinning these statistics. S/he thrives in a multidisciplinary work environment, and is an innovative strategic thinker with political sensitivity. S/he has a proven track record of managing and delivering a complex Programme of Work and Budget, as well as managing large and diverse international teams, while maintaining a wide and effective professional network.Job DescriptionMain ResponsibilitiesLeadership
