About this role:

As our Head of Marketing: Austria, you’ll have the opportunity to assist with localising and implementing innovative and engaging marketing strategies seen by millions! You’ll be responsible for leading the marketing team and the overall marketing plan for Austria. You will work to amplify our brand performance, making data led decisions to continuously evolve and improve our local strategies and initiatives based on the JET’s Global Marketing strategy. 

Collaboration is a key ingredient to this role; you will report to the Senior Director Marketing Northern Europe, will cooperate closely with our Austrian Country Manager, and will work with the central marketing teams to develop market beating strategies, drive order growth and increase brand awareness in the market. As someone who values connection, you will liaise with specialists to ensure we increase brand growth and deliver on our KPIs. 

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Manages a team of local marketing representatives who play an important role in localising and implementing local marketing strategies in Austria. Delivering increased brand awareness, brand preference, and loyalty as well as driving business impact on orders, frequency, and new customers.
  • Oversees and drives the ATL media plan and budget.
  • Make sure that global campaigns and partnerships are executed brilliantly in the market. Providing central Brand, Performance, Retention, Partner, and Partnership teams with local Insight. 
  • Advises senior central Marketing management on strategic decisions for Brand, Performance, Retention, and Partner/Partnership teams regarding the market.
  • Communicates local market feedback to be considered in the overall JET’s Global Marketing strategy.
  • Drives brand visibility through last-mile visibility. 
  • Develop and execute local PR strategy in close collaboration with the Brand team.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Academic degree in Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience (desirable but not required) 
  • Extensive marketing experience in combination with experience in people management, managing a cross-functional marketing team
  • Experience in the development and execution of Brand Campaign strategy
  • Experience in managing a complex media budget 
  • Knowledge of the development and execution of data-driven marketing campaigns and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a range of stakeholders
  • German and English language skills (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
