Job Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced legal professional to support various business units in Italy. The successful candidate will ensure that all contractual activities comply with relevant regulations, instructions, and local statutory provisions.Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of issues affecting different business units, with a strong focus on contracts and tenders. Offer legal guidance for ongoing projects.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with customers, coordinating with internal stakeholders throughout the process, including risk review.
• Dispute Management: Promote dispute avoidance, manage disputes and litigations with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Corporate Governance: Ensure excellent corporate governance and manage the operational company at the country level.
• Ethics and Compliance: Support the implementation of the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct. Assist with investigations and resolution of integrity-related issues.
• Data Privacy: Act as the local contact point for data privacy matters, working closely with the global Privacy Team.
• Training: Design and deliver training sessions on contractual and legal matters.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a Junior Legal Counsel, focusing on their growth and development.
• Global Collaboration: Be an active member of the global Legal and Integrity community and support the global team as needed.

Qualifications:

• University Law Degree (Master of Law).
• 7-10 years of relevant experience, particularly in major construction/engineering projects and handling complex international corporate and commercial transactions. Familiarity with FIDIC and Orgalim general terms and conditions is advantageous.
• Strong business acumen, solution-oriented mindset, and well-developed communication skills.
• Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
