MissionThe Head of Health and Safety is in charge of well-being, protection, and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors by fostering a culture of proactive risk management and compliance with all relevant regulations for the scope of the Proton Therapy business as well as for transversal activities of the IBA group.By promoting a safe and healthy work environment, we aim to enhance employee well-being, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the long-term sustainability and productivity of the organization.Challenges we trust you with

• Lead the global H&S team of 7 people in Europe, US and China
• Implement objectives of H&S policy
• Develop and implement H&S strategies
• Drive minimization of workplace incidents and injuries through regular risk-assessments and preventive measures
• Define and oversee H&S performance management system
• Ensure global oversight over all proton therapy sites during installation and maintenance
• Ensuring reporting into and collaboration with CPPT
• Collaborate with colleagues of other entities / business units
• Ensure training and education of all IBA colleagues and promote safe working practices
• Ensure management of nonconformance and other issues
• Ensure full compliance with international, national and local legislation
• Ensure participation of H&S in audits and management review
• Drive data-driven process improvements and digitization

What we value

• Studies degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or other technical study
• Post graduate qualification like Certified Prevention Advisor or comparable
• Experienced in leading H&S teams
• Successful with proven results
• Regulatory knowledge and experience with radio safety and electrical safety
• Risk management
• Location in Europe, in LLN is beneficial
• Travel up to 30%

• Excellent communication skills

• Problem solving and result orientation
• Fluent knowledge of English is a must, French is beneficial
• Experiences in distant leadership and international teams
