The fundamental driver of our culture is the player-learner mindset, which we seek to inspire and nurture in every employee.Job SummaryAs the Head of Global Clinical Education Orthodontics (f/m/d) you will be at the forefront of developing and executing a comprehensive educational strategy aimed at enhancing clinical confidence and driving the utilization of the ClearCorrect aligner system and associated digital products. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of orthodontics and a passion for education to lead a world-class clinical education program and team on a global scale. You will craft strategic initiatives that span the entire customer journey, aiming to boost practice success in areas such as clinical proficiency, digital transformation, practice growth, and practice marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a global clinical education strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify and leverage key educational trends and innovations to enhance the learning experience for orthodontic professionals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align educational initiatives with business strategies.
  • Craft strategic initiatives spanning the entire customer journey to boost practice success in clinical proficiency, digital transformation, practice growth, and practice marketing.
  • Ensure alignment with regional and local teams to drive the adoption and execution of initiatives globally, maintaining consistency and quality across all educational programs.

Program Development

  • Develop and manage educational curricula that encompass the entire customer journey, from onboarding to continuous education, for ClearCorrect aligners and digital products.
  • Ensure educational content incorporates the newest clinical research and technological advancements.
  • Regularly update educational materials based on feedback and new developments in orthodontics.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the orthodontic education landscape.
  • Support and oversee in-person and virtual global educational events, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of clinical educators and trainers.
  • Ensure the team is well-equipped to deliver consistent and high-quality educational experiences across various regions.
  • Promote a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Build and lead a high-performing educational team, promoting a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement

Partnerships and Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and professional organizations within the orthodontic community.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and sales teams, within Orthodontics and across other Business Units to ensure alignment and synergy across initiatives.
  • Work closely with regional, local and Enterprise solutions teams to ensure the seamless implementation of global educational strategies and programs.
  • Partner with Clinical Affairs and Treatment Planning Teams to create meaningful and impactful educational programs, addressing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and other professional events.

Performance Measurement

  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report on program outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Customer Engagement

  • Engage with orthodontic professionals to understand their educational needs and preferences.
  • Utilize feedback to tailor educational offerings and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of lifelong learning and professional development within the orthodontic community.

Qualifications

  • DDS, DMD, or equivalent dental degree, with advanced specialty training in Orthodontics
  • 10+ years of clinical experience in orthodontics, including 2+ years of clinical experience with clear aligner treatment
  • Experience in teaching or academic roles related to orthodontics, such as a faculty position at a dental school or involvement in continuing education programs
  • Experience in developing and delivering educational content, in-person and online
  • Proven track record of developing and leading educational programs in the dental/medical device industry
  • Ability to design and implement training programs for diverse profiles within a practice.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term educational strategies
  • Familiarity with modern educational technologies and platforms used for clinical education.
  • Openness to integrating innovative teaching methods and tools, such as simulation-based training and digital orthodontics
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget
  • A strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional educational experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and demands
