They are looking for a hands-on Head of Finance & Administration (CFO) to lead the financial operations.Our client is a online mobile app that simplifies tax-free shopping, enabling travelers to easily get 20% tax back in France, Spain, and Belgium. The app addresses inefficiencies in the current tax refund process, which is often paper-heavy and inconvenient, by allowing users to upload purchase invoices directly. Since its launch in 2018, our client has expanded its team from 3 to 35 members, and this year, they have increased their revenue by 50%, positioning themselves for further growth. Positioned at the intersection of fintech, retail, and travel, they aim to connect local retailers with global travelers through its digital platform.They are seeking a hands-on Head of Finance and Administration (CFO) in Brussels to lead financial and administrative operations, driving the company’s strategic growth. This role involves overseeing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, HR, and risk management, while shaping the company’s strategy and culture. It’s a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company that already serves 100,000 users, refunding hundreds of thousands of euros monthly to global travelers.

• Lead and develop the finance function to achieve growth and profitability goals.
• Streamline and optimise accounting and financial processes, including automation and cost control.
• VAT returns, annual accounts, refunds to customer
• Manage strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with a focus on KPIs.
• Explore financial engineering options to enhance cash flow and liquidity.
• Oversee HR functions and administrative procedures, including contracts and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.

• Minimum master in Finance/Business Administration/Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
