37.5 Hours per Week – Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:00

Head of Engineering required for a leading engineering company who are going through an exciting period of growth and succession planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader who hold a global reputation for the quality of their work.

This role would suit an experienced engineer with experience in a senior leadership role. You will hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) and will need experience manufacturing machinery or capital equipment. You will have a strong understanding of design processes and experience delivering projects to customers.

The Head of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing and leading the company’s engineering team, both day to day and its long-term direction. You will ensure the team is motivated, drive innovation in technologies and ensure company products not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

The Head of Engineering Role:

A· Oversee the engineering team, design, compliance, controls, and commissioning

A· Ensure machinery is designed to high quality and safety standards

A· Identify new and advanced technologies for customer solutions

A· Liaise with customers to understand their requirements

A· Key point of contact to customers during services, installation, commissioning and general aftersales support

A· Oversee compilation of technical documentation, including risk assessments and conformance

The Head of Engineering Candidate:

A· Experienced engineer – degree qualified (or equivalent)

A· Experience in a senior leadership role

A· Understanding of design process of machinery or capital equipment
