We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Country Operations to lead our QSR business in Spain. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will oversee end-to-end operations-including company-owned and franchised locations-ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and brand consistency across all sites. Your leadership will drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute the country-wide operational strategy, aligning with the company’s global vision and local market dynamics.
* Drive revenue growth and profitability through data-driven decision-making, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across company-owned and franchised locations.
* Expand the brand’s footprint by identifying new market opportunities, assessing locations, and leading store openings, including franchise development and support.
* Monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., sales, margins, customer satisfaction, operational costs) to identify trends, risks, and improvement areas.

* Oversee all QSR operations, including store management, supply chain, logistics, and compliance with brand standards for both company-owned and franchised units.
* Ensure consistency in food quality, service speed, and customer experience across all locations, with a focus on franchise alignment.
* Implement and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain operational uniformity and efficiency across the network.
* Optimize supply chain and inventory management to reduce waste, improve margins, and ensure timely deliveries for all locations.

* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, including store managers, supervisors, staff, and franchise partners.
* Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement across all levels, including franchisee training and support.
* Conduct regular training and performance reviews to enhance team capabilities and drive employee engagement.
* Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent in a fast-paced QSR environment.

* Identify and implement best practices, technologies, and innovations to enhance operational efficiency (e.g., automation, digital ordering, kitchen optimization).
* Streamline workflows to reduce bottlenecks, improve speed of service, and elevate customer satisfaction.
* Lead cross-functional projects (e.g., menu development, marketing campaigns, tech integrations) to drive business growth.

* Ensure full compliance with local labour laws, food safety regulations, health & safety standards, and brand policies across all locations.
* Mitigate operational risks by implementing robust control systems and contingency plans.
* Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

* Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR to align operational strategies with business objectives.
* Liaise with franchisees to ensure brand consistency and operational alignment.
* Represent the company in industry events, stakeholder meetings, and negotiations with landlords, suppliers, franchisees, and local authorities.

Key Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in QSR or fast-food operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Country Head, Operations Director, Regional Manager).
* Proven track record of scaling QSR operations, driving profitability, and leading large teams (50+ employees).
* Experience in multi-unit management, franchise operations, or international QSR brands is highly preferred.

* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams, including franchise partners.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* In-depth knowledge of QSR operations, including supply chain, inventory, cost control, customer service, and franchise management.
* Financial acumen to manage P&L, budgets, and forecasts with a focus on profitability and efficiency.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, franchisees, and team members.
* Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Tech-savvy, with experience in QSR management software, POS systems, and data analytics tools.
* Fluent in English & Spanish
