We are responsible for a real estate portfolio of 8 million square meters of office and production space at around 1,600 locations worldwide and manage it from a cost, transparency, and efficiency perspective. What do you contribute?
We want you as our next Head of (f/m/d) Commercial Project Management for Real Estate related projects of Siemens Mobility. You will manage a portfolio of global projects with a significant own investment, representing SRE towards the management of Siemens Mobility, internal and external partners, suppliers and authorities.
You will assume the functional lead of a team of 5 project controlling experts (f/m/d) in three countries. The role is based in Munich, Germany and you will functionally report to the global head of AP FIN SMO.
You will look after the projects “end-to-end”, from an early identification phase followed by project approval, planning and preparation all the way through to implementation and hand-over to our customer Siemens Mobility. As commercial partner to the technical project managers you and your team will

assume full financial control of your projects and provide transparency regarding the project status in costs, timeline and quality.

identify cost efficient and innovative solutions to be incorporated into the customer’s business case and facilitate the comparison of alternative scenarios and options.

also coordinate internal project approval processes regarding business case, legal aspects, accounting and taxes

ensure correct accounting for the projects (IFRS and country specific) in terms of capital/expense, revenue and cost recognition

assume risk, change and claim management in joint responsibility with the technical project managers and define and manage any necessary mitigation activities
On aggregated level you provide global transparency regarding the total Real Estate investment activities for Siemens Mobility.
What do you bring along?
-
You bring in a real estate related academic degree (Master’s /Diploma) or a comparable degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

Also, you do have proven experience in commercial management of complex projects and excellent skills in accounting and financing, preferably for the real estate industry.

In depth know-how of PM@Siemens processes and/or CPM/SCPM certification is required.

Next to this, you do have long term expertise in procurement processes, contract negotiation and supplier management.

In addition, you bring in excellent and distinct customer orientation with a comprehensive Real Estate business perspective/understanding.

Furthermore, you already gained long term experience in people management and team development.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English, both written and verbally as well as the ability to travel up to 30% of the time round off your profile.
