Head of Claims (m/f/d) in Vienna, Austria

Allianz Holding Eins is responsible for Central & Eastern Europe (CE) focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers 11 countries in total Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities:

• In depth local market and regional competitor analysis and development of an action plan to accelerate Claims across the OEs and to enable effectiveness, efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Harmonization of the regional / OE claims processes ensuring streamlined, transparent and customer friendly approach (SLAs, VoC, Claims Tracker usage etc)
• Oversight and steering of the claims performance including design and implementation of:
• Steering activities (Cash, preferred repair shops etc)
• Fraud and recovery management
• Analytical/data science integration in the claims management
• Establish feedback link to CPO/CFO on regional and local level aiming for stronger integration into Pricing/UW and Financials (OP, Reserving)
• Regional communities & capability building: manage platforms regulars connect local heads of Claims, deploy specific trainings on topics of relevance to enhance knowledge and share best practices among OEs
• Establish regional claims education/learning platform and best practice sharing of the activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years working experience in Insurance
• Strong track record in operational claims management experience, ideally in an operating entity
• Change management experience
• Analytical and Data knowledge
• Oversight of complex activities
• Delivery and performance attitude
• Previous experience as a leader of a high performing team
• Fluency in English and strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills
• Strong personal drive and a mindset oriented to continuous improvement and excellence

For this position we offer a gross salary of at least EUR 80.000 gross (full-time basis) yearly. Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
