At Coloplast HQ in Humlebæk, you will join our Quality Competence Centre, which is a part of Global Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability. Here, we are 4 ambitious teams – one of which you will be managing as the Head of Biosafety and Chemical Compliance.Biosafety and Chemical Compliance consists of 8 highly skilled specialists with competencies within biocompatibility and chemical compliance located in DK. Besides being manager for the team in DK, you will also be professional manager for 1 team leader with 8 specialists in our Biosafety and Chemical compliance team in Poland. Together with the team leader you ensure the development of competences as well as distribution of tasks and projects within the team. As a global team, you make sure that our products are biocompatible and safe, living up to the ambitions we set for ourselves in Coloplast and all the external requirements within biocompatibility and chemical compliance.Get ready to set the direction for the team in a dynamic environmentThe team consists of highly skilled and passionate specialists who are leveraging from each other’s diverse backgrounds and experiences to deliver quality results. You will play a key role in setting the direction within the area to meet the future demands of increased external requirements to biocompatibility and chemical compliance. Furthermore, as leader of the team you are instrumental in ensuring team wellbeing, balancing delivering business results.Your main tasks will be

• Team and employee development
• Set strategy for and ensure biocompatibility of Coloplast products and compliance with regulatory demands in relation to biocompatibility and chemical safety of new and existing Coloplast products
• Overall responsible for ensuring compliance to Coloplast relevant chemical legislations (e.g. European Chemicals Regulation (REACH), CalProp 65)
• Professional manager for Biosafety and Chemical compliance team in Poland
• Ensure right prioritization and allocation of resources
• Budget responsable for the team
• Collaborate with the 3 other managers in the Competence Centre, setting management directions that promote a healthy and flourishing work environment

• Have relevant academic/STEM background in preferably pharmacy, human biology, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, medicine or pharmacology
• Have a solid track record of leading teams with highly skilled specialist
• Have great communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Experience working with ISO 10993, and/or in the area of pharmacology, toxicology or biocompatibility evaluation within a relevant industry is an advantage
• Are highly proficient in spoken and written English
