Hazard Communications Manager

Our client is a fast-growing international business operating at the forefront of modern crop protection. With a strong footprint across Europe and expanding operations globally, the company is redefining how sustainable agricultural practices are delivered. By combining advanced technology with tailored, integrated solutions, they support growers in meeting both environmental and market demands. Their approach is grounded in collaboration, innovation, and long-term partnership.

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

This is an exceptional chance to join a company that blends scientific innovation with practical agricultural solutions. Our client is not just reacting to the growing demand for sustainability in farming-they are proactively shaping it. By developing integrated programs that combine biological and conventional crop protection tools, they offer a more complete, forward-looking approach to safeguarding food production. As part of their team, you’ll contribute to work that truly makes a difference in how agriculture adapts to future challenges.

The company’s culture is centered around openness, accountability, and empowerment. Employees are encouraged to think pragmatically, act decisively, and take ownership of their professional development. Within this structure, the regulatory function plays a crucial and respected role. You’ll find yourself in a team-oriented environment where expertise is valued, collaboration is natural, and growth opportunities are real.

With operations in more than 20 countries and a workforce of over 800 people, the business offers the stability of an established organisation with the energy and agility of a company still on an upward trajectory. Their focus on long-term partnerships and technological access gives them a competitive edge, while their flexible working culture supports a healthy work-life balance and strong team connection-even across borders.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and product labelling teams, setting clear priorities and supporting individual growth
* Oversee project time-lines and manage workload distribution to ensure effective collaboration and timely delivery
* Create and maintain compliant SDSs for the company’s product portfolio across global markets
* Act as an internal expert on Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) regulation and manage PCN submissions
* Monitor evolving regulations, including changes to CLP and ATP updates, and ensure product compliance
* Collaborate with regulatory and supply chain colleagues on classification issues, co-formulant management, and labeling accuracy

Key Requirements

* A degree in chemistry or a closely related scientific field
* Proven experience in regulatory affairs with a focus on SDS, REACH, and CLP compliance
* Strong leadership capabilities, including setting team goals and motivating others
* Solid understanding of EU and global chemical regulations, particularly those affecting classification and labeling
* Proficiency with regulatory tools and software (such as LISAM), as well as general IT systems
* Fluency in English is essential; other languages are beneficial due to the company’s international scope
