Handyman – Kent

Various Southern Water Sites across Kent must have good plumbing and decorating skills.

Undertake a proactive role in carrying out first response to reactive jobs and complete tasks such as ventilation grille cleans, Light Cleans, unblocking of toilets, meter readings etc. in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to services across site on various aspects of the building services in accordance with the PPM programme and personal competence and training

Minimise penalty deductions by responding in a timely manner to all maintenance issues in accordance with the requirements of the Contract

Assist in carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works

Assist in carrying out systematic fault finding in a logical and safe manner on malfunctioning equipment

Undertake general tidying and cleaning of office and workshop areas

Check and replenish stored items as required

Undertake general duties including delivery, stock movement and material deliveries
