We are looking for a Handyman parttime for a life science environment located at Geel

Reports to:

The Hard Service Lead

Responsibility level:

Technical management of Handyman services

Development and implementation of technical solutions to operational problems

Principal duties:

• Maintain maintenance & repairs to all offices & conference rooms and execute repairs.

• Meeting room preparation / maintenance / small relocations / event preparations

• Automated doors / carousels/ building security system

• Electrical works on low voltage, execute re-lamping, …

• Execute small office moves / carpentry.

• Small relocations

• Gas cylinder replacement for labs

• Receiving work permits and notifications.

• Coordinate start- work discussions.

• Coaching contractors to stimulate safe work.

• Corporate with other maintenance and technical workers

• Assist departments on their request to clean up.

• Development, implementation, and monitoring of operations procedures for maintenance and repair

• Deliver on local SLA / KPI requirements.

Skills/Qualifications / Attributes:

• Full time or 4/5 position (day hours)

• Dutch is mother tongue, knowledge of English.

• Precise working and structured approach

• Communicates well in a friendly and effective manner with customers and colleagues.

• Well organized and able to set priorities.

• Knowledge of SI7 (client service request system )

• Good safety awareness

• Adaptability to changing priorities and time constraints.

• Experience of working in a customer services orientated environment

• Experience of working in a life science environment is a + Team player, flexible, takes initiative.

• VCA certificate

• BA4/5 electrical level
