Hadoop Administrator

Job Description:

DXC Technology is looking for Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering.

Responsibility

• Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security.
• Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia Nagios.
• Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and providing necessary supports.
• Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications.

Requirement

• At least 3 Y experience in the role.
• Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig.
• Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity and bottlenecks.
• Previous experience on Financial Services will be considered preferable.
