Group Reporting Manager (Hybrid)
The Group Reporting Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely production of consolidated financial information for the Group ensuring consistency of reporting across all regions.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Contribute significantly to the preparation of internal reporting deliverables namely: Flash reporting, Executive Committee pack, Management accounts
-Take ownership of more complex areas of external reporting and review of work prepared by the Group Finance team
-Acts as primary source of information for Financial Accounting and Reporting queries
-Involvement in projects/tasks as required within Group Finance including acquisition accounting, group reorganisations, refinancing etc.
-Perform ad hoc reviews on accounting and reporting matters to ensure consistency across all regions and compliance with Group standards and policies.
-Build and maintain strong working relationships and work on accounting matters with other Group Functions (National Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury), as well as divisional and country finance teams to ensure that consolidated financial information is provided on a timely basis and to the highest possible standard
-Responsible for ensuring the team works together in succeeding to meet tight deadlines and that tasks are appropriately outlined and delegated
-Supervise and assist in the training and development of the team.
-Be a primary contact for audit queries
Required competencies:
-Qualified Accountant, (ACA preferred), preferably with some PQE gained in industry.
-Experienced in the preparation and/or review of complex, multi-currency, consolidated management, and financial information for a large group.
-Excellent understanding of IFRS reporting requirements.
-Delivery focused with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
-Strong MS Excel skills.
-Knowledge of Oracle HFM preferred but not essential.
-Strong intellect and analytical skills.
-Good communication skills, both oral and written; and
-Strong team working ethic with experience of people management.
