For our international helicopter training center in Bückeburg (near Minden) we are looking for a
Goup Leader Operation Training & Support (f/m/d)
In this role you coordinate and plan the matrix-related work of the instructors and test pilots – you also coordinate the corresponding prioritization with the areas concerned. You contribute to the operator´s perspective to requirements- and change management as well as to smaller modification and development projects. At least you provide knowledge of EASA legislation, weapon systems, air operations and tactics in all areas of after sales support.
Your tasks:

Responsible leadership of team members and their personnel deployment planning

Budget planning and administration – responsible for planning of all project activities, coordination with other divisions in which parts of these activities are supported and/or handled

Preparation of training plans and teaching materials
-
Project-related technical development planning
-
Coordination and support in the creation of programme plans and training courses
-
Creation of test specifications and submission/coordination with the customer
-
Creation and testing of simulation / training content (syllabus, scenarios, etc.)

Operational evaluation of technical changes to the original aircraft and other factors influencing the training resources

Derivation of technical requirements in collaboration with the engineering department
-
Planning, documentation and presentation of change projects for training equipment (operational assessment, costs and deadlines)

Support in the further development and optimisation of processes

Organization of group meetings and staff appraisals, support with job interviews

Carrying out internal tests and evaluating system functions

Accompanying acceptance tests

Acting as an instructor / console operator
Your profile:
-
A university degree; engineering or paedagogical studies preferable
-
Several years of professional experience in related work areas
-
High level of teamwork and communication skills as well as assertiveness
-
Proactive and strategic thinking and acting
-
Knowledge of EASA, Air Operations Regulation (EU No 965-2012) and Aircrew Regulations (EU No 1178-2011)

(Military) flight licence would be an advantage, military expertise is desired
-
Confident demeanour and business fluent verbal and written expression in English and German
-
Fundamental management experience
-
Independent, structured and analytical way of working
-
Safety certifiable (Ü2)
