And in the world of logistics, supply and demand create challenges but also new and exciting opportunities to work in new ways,” says Anders Groot, Director, Group Controlling.Welcome to Group ControllingWe are 45 international colleagues based in Poland, Portugal, Denmark, and Asia, and together we are responsible for all consolidated reporting and controlling activities of DSV. Specifically, you will join our Air & Sea team of 10 colleagues, where we handle the controlling and reporting of a portfolio of over 150 subsidiaries. You will be working at the DSV’s office in Hedehusene, Denmark.“A good mix of experience, nationalities, and skills allows us to learn from each other. And from the very beginning, you will have a buddy in your team who’ll assist you if you have any questions,” explains Anders.Controlling and reporting of your own subsidiariesFrom day 1, you will gain a portfolio of about 15 subsidiaries across the globe, and we will make sure to give you challenges that build on your skills in the best way possible. Your job will be to control and assist the subsidiaries in relation to reporting, IFRS, and other internal DSV guidelines. You will also have some ad-hoc assignments in relation to projects.Collaborating with other Group functions, including Group Tax, Group Compliance, Group Legal, etc., you will:

  • Carry out controlling and internal reporting to division and group management
  • Spend approx. 25 working days per year visiting subsidiaries
  • Produce analyses, business cases for investments and KPI reporting for management
  • Provide regular assistance to subsidiaries, e.g., in relation to reporting
  • Carry out external reporting, e.g., interim and annual reports to the market
  • Work on integration tasks, e.g., opening balances, review of business cases and synergies

Moreover, you take a methodical and structured approach to your work with your subsidiaries, and you do not mind if your tasks change as supply and demand control our market. Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have a financial background, e.g,. a Bachelor of Commerce or Management Accounting
  • May have some controlling and reporting experience, perhaps from a global company
  • Have excellent Excel skills
  • May have knowledge of SAP S/4Hana
  • Fluent in English
