Team Leader – Grounds Maintenance – Ware/SG

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join a leading horticultural and grounds maintenance company based in the Ware area.

Location: Bristol

Rate: GBP15 – GBP16.80 p/h (this includes Hol Pay)

Working Hours : 6am – 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Leading a team of operatives on a range of maintenance contracts

Tasks include:

*

Laying out plants on site according to the plan
*

Verifying correct species, sizes, and quantities before planting
*

Preparing soil and planting beds to specification
*

Installing trees, shrubs, and plants at proper depth and spacing
*

Staking, mulching, and watering plants correctly

A planting scheme focuses on the overall design intent, such as:

Plant balance, spacing, and visual flow
*

Seasonal interest and plant compatibility
*

Long-term growth and maintenance needs

Requirements:

PA1/PA6 certifications – Desired
* Reading Plans and installing landscaping.
*

Proven experience in a similar supervisory or team leader role
*

Full UK driving licence – essential
