• Leadership & Interaction with support services: supply chain, quality, service team, warehouse, treatment plant, planning…
• Develop an operational strategy for your Area in order to increase production efficiencies and in line with the department’s Business strategy
• Maintain close collaboration with R&D and the BUs of your Area of activity
• Build committed, efficient and autonomous teams
• Lead the implementation of new projects & products in the field
• Development & Management of the budget for your Area in the topics that are your direct responsibility (PBE, Training, Supplies, Cleaning)

In your second and third year, you will have a new assignment in another department of the Operations organization in Belgium e.g. Supply chain, Group Quality, Engineering, HSE, etc. in one of the production locations.The goal of our program is to prepare you on a path for talented, passionate professionals towards future leading roles within our company.

Each Graduate Trainee will be assigned to an expert Mentor, who will ensure you receive all the continuous support and training you need to be successful during your 3 annual rotations.After your 3-year graduate program you move to an exciting role within Puratos to build further your career within our global business.Who are we looking for?

• A Master’s Degree from a University with excellent academic track record (Bio or industrial engineering, food science, food processing, production processes, …)
• You will either be in your final year of University study, or have graduated within the past 12 to 18 months (more experienced candidates are welcome to apply to other roles at Puratos via our careers page)
• A first work or Internship experience, preferably in the Food, FMCG or in a similar industry
• Drive for innovation, teamwork, flexibility and achievement orientation
• Your personal commitment stirs others’ enthusiasm and increases team spirit
• As a future manager, you are decisive and resolute.
• Engagement and Passion for the Food industry
• Be fully mobile to work in different global business areas/ locations.
• Be fully business-fluent in English (French and /or Dutch are an asset)
