Job Description:
Become a qualified Chartered Accountant!
37.75 hours / week – Lurgan, Co Armagh
Join our team at Terex GBS UK and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a passionate and dedicated Trainee Accountant to join the team in Lurgan, NI.
GBS UK is one of five worldwide shared service centres supporting Terex entities across the world. GBS is responsible for a range of financial functions including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Business Tax.
Each year we recruit a select number of high-quality graduates who display real management potential. Good A- level grades and a First-class or 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent are required, preferably in finance or business-related degree.
Graduates work in an environment where from day one you will be adding value to our business by working in a real job, with real responsibility. Most learning will be in the form of on-the-job coaching from experienced colleagues and will also incorporate selected project work. There is also opportunity to participate in structured training programmes to assist you with both your work and studies.
Our scheme is highly flexible, and we offer a tailored approach rather than a “standard” graduate career path. Your progression will depend on your own performance, your career goals, and the needs of the business at the time. You will receive financial assistance to cover the costs of gaining your professional qualification (CIMA or Chartered Accountants Ireland) as well as paid study leave.
Graduates will work within our Accounting and Financial Reporting team, and you will also have the opportunity to network with Terex professionals in other finance departments both at GBS, business unit finance teams across the world and our Corporate Accounting team based in Connecticut, USA.
