• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm
• Earn £500 – 530 per week + additional benefits
• Work closely with students leading into crucial exam periods

This large and expanding academy school near Bootle has a long-term vacancy for a Graduate Science Academic Mentor. The school is specifically looking for a science graduate who has a 1st or 2:1 degree and matching A levels and GCSE’s.As a Graduate Science Academic Mentor, you will be supporting the science department in the delivery of an exciting curriculum. The school has amazing resources and facilities that you will see in action as part of the teaching process. Science is considered a “Live” subject – ie, on top of live in class experiments – active learning, school trips and leaving the classroom are at the top of the agenda.

The role will see you work closely with students who are falling behind their targeted grades for a variety of reasons. Some of these students will have additional needs who require support with areas of the science curriculum on a 1-to-1 and small group basis.
